2. Barley porridge with milk
A quick milk breakfast is good with cottage cheese, fruit or honey.
You will need: 1 glass of barley, 2 glasses of milk, 2 glasses of water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 pinch of salt, butter.
Preparation: Mix milk with water, bring to a boil and pour in washed cereals. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the porridge is almost ready, add salt and sugar, and at the end - butter.
3. Barley porridge with pumpkin
Bright and beautiful porridge with a very delicate taste.
You will need: 100 g of barley, 150 g of pumpkin, 300 ml of milk, 150 ml of water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 30 g butter.
Preparation: Pour the washed porridge with water and cook until the liquid disappears. Pour in milk, add grated pumpkin, stir and cook for about half an hour over low heat. Add sugar and butter at the end.
4. Barley porridge with chicken
Feel free to add mushrooms or any vegetables here.
You will need: 150 g of chicken, 100 g of barley, 250 ml of water, 0.5 carrots, 1 onion, spices.
Preparation: Cut the chicken into pieces and fry. Add onions and carrots to it, and simmer everything together for a couple of minutes. Pour in the washed cereal, cover with water and carcass the dish until tender, and then season.
5. Barley porridge with mushrooms
For a change, we suggest taking oyster mushrooms, not champignons!
You will need: 1 glass of barley, 200 g of oyster mushrooms, 1 onion, 1 carrot, spices, green onions.
Preparation: Rinse the cereal and boil for about 20 minutes. During this time, prepare a classic roast of vegetables with mushrooms and send it to the pan. Cook the porridge for another 20 minutes, season and let it brew. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
6. Barley porridge with apple

You will need: 0.5 cups of barley, 1 apple, 2 cups of water, 1 tsp. honey, cinnamon, nuts, butter.
Preparation: Boil the cereal until tender and add the diced apple to it. Stew for another 5 minutes, add honey, cinnamon, butter and nuts, and stir. Let the porridge brew for 10 minutes.
7. Barley porridge with liver
