Traditionally, let's start with a classic recipe, from which you can build on in your culinary experiments.
You will need: 700 g cod, 50 ml milk, 2 slices of white bread, 1 onion, 1 egg, spices, herbs, garlic.
Preparation: Soak the bread in milk and mince it along with the cod and onions. Add crushed garlic, egg, chopped herbs and spices. Shape and fry the patties.
2. Cod cutlets with tabasco
Pungent, spicy, delicate and highly aromatic.
You will need: 450 g minced cod, 100 g white bread, 1 celery stalk, 1 onion, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons. mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro, 1 tsp. tabasco, 1 tsp lemon juice, spices.
Preparation: Grind the bread into crumbs and add a third to the minced fish bowl. Fry chopped onion with celery, and add there along with mayonnaise, cilantro, tabasco, spices, lemon juice and egg. Mix the minced meat well, shape the patties and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Roll them in the remaining bread crumbs and fry on both sides.
3. Cod cutlets with potatoes

You will need: 1 kg of cod, 1 egg, 1 onion, 1 zucchini, 4 tablespoons. semolina, garlic, spices, bread crumbs.
Preparation: Grind the zucchini on a medium grater and mix with the minced fish. Add the egg, spices and crushed garlic there, and at the end - semolina. Knead until smooth, shape the patties, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry.
5. Cod fish cakes with cauliflower

You will need: 300 g cod, 300 g cauliflower, 1 onion, 1-2 eggs, 2 tbsp. sour cream, 2 tbsp. starch, spices.
Preparation: Boil cauliflower inflorescences 3 minutes after boiling and chop finely with a knife. Mix with chopped fish and onions, add sour cream and eggs to a consistency. Season the minced meat, add the starch, mix well again and form the patties. If desired, roll in breadcrumbs and fry.
6. Cod fish cakes with rice and herbs

You will need: 400 g of minced cod, 200 g of boiled rice, 1 egg, 0.5 bunch of dill and parsley, spices, bread crumbs.
Preparation: Boil rice until half cooked and mix with minced cod meat. Add finely chopped herbs and an egg with spices there. Add green onions and other herbs if desired. Form patties, roll in breadcrumbs and fry.
7. Cod fish cutlets with couscous
Not everyone knows, but couscous is a great alternative to semolina or flour.
You will need: 350 g minced cod, 60 g carrots, 50 g onions, 1 egg, 100 g couscous, 50 ml 30% cream, flour.
Preparation: Combine minced fish with grated carrots and finely chopped onions. Add cream, egg and couscous and leave under plastic wrap for half an hour. Form patties, flour and fry.
8. Cod cutlets with cabbage
With ordinary fresh cabbage, wonderful cutlets are also obtained.
You will need: 500 g cod, 500 g cabbage, 20 g butter, 1 egg, spices, flour, 1 onion.

11. Cod cutlets with green peas

You will need: 300 g cod, 100 g peas, 1 egg, 1 onion, 1 tbsp. sour cream, 2 tbsp. semolina, spices.
Preparation: Chop the cod and onion, add the egg, spices and sour cream and stir. At the end, add peas and semolina scalded with boiling water to the minced meat. Form cutlets, roll in breadcrumbs to taste and fry.
12. Cod cutlets with sauerkraut

13. Cod fish cakes with nuts
Walnuts and minced meat are best.
You will need: 500 g cod, 100 g leeks, 1 egg, 0.5 cups bread crumbs, 3 tbsp. chopped nuts, 80 g of cottage cheese, spices, bread crumbs.
Preparation: Chop the cod finely, fry the chopped leek, and stir with cottage cheese, bread crumbs, nuts, egg and spices. Form medium cutlets, bread and brown.
14. Cod cutlets with mushrooms and tomatoes
These patties are best cooked in the oven with cheese.
