Kebabs are, of course, good. But what if you want variety or just something easier? We will tell you how to cook delicious, juicy and aromatic fish on the grill. Even if you are doing it for the first time, then with these recipes you will definitely succeed!
1. Mackerel with mayonnaise
Mayonnaise retains tender flesh but gives a nice crispy crust.
You will need: 2 mackerels, 100 g mayonnaise, 0.5 lemon, spices, 2 tbsp. soy sauce.
Preparation: Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, mayonnaise and spices and marinate the peeled mackerel in the mixture. Leave them covered for a couple of hours, and then fry on a wire rack on both sides until golden brown.
2. Trout with garlic on the grill
Delicious trout does not require complex marinades and long preparation.
You will need: 350 g of trout, 2 tbsp. olive oil, salt, pepper, 1 clove of garlic.
Preparation: Mix oil with crushed garlic and spices, coat the trout well with it and leave for half an hour. Wipe off the pieces of garlic with a napkin so that they do not burn, and fry the fish on a wire rack for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
3. Salmon with soy sauce and brown sugar
A recipe that will make your mouth water!
You will need: 600 g salmon, 20 g brown sugar, 30 ml lemon juice, 50 ml soy sauce, 50 ml olive oil, 30 ml water, 2 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper.
Preparation: Combine sugar, spices, lemon juice, soy sauce, water, oil and crushed garlic. Marinate portions of salmon in the mixture for 2-3 hours. It is most convenient to do this in an airtight bag. Then fry the fish on a wire rack for about 10-12 minutes, turning frequently.
4. Grilled pike with onions
Minimum ingredients, but maximum taste.
You will need: 700 g pike, 3 onions, 1 lemon, 1 tbsp. salt, spices.
Preparation: Gut the fish, fill it with lemon juice and rub the belly with it. Top with pike rings and spices, stir and leave to marinate for a couple of hours.
Transfer the pike and a small amount of onion to a wire rack and grill it over the coals for about 20-25 minutes. So that the sides do not burn, but are beautifully browned, turn over more often.
5. Capelin with tomato sauce
It is very convenient to fry small capelin on a wire rack in large quantities at once.
You will need: 800 g capelin, 0.5 lemon, 2 tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tbsp. sour cream, spices, garlic.
Preparation: Rinse and gut the capelin and place it in a deep container. Add spices, crushed garlic, lemon juice, sour cream, and tomato paste or ketchup.
Mix the fish with the marinade well, and you can immediately prepare the grill. Capelin does not need to be marinated for a long time. Place fish on a wire rack in one layer and fry until crisp.
6. River fish on the grill
Great recipe for fresh fish right after fishing!
You will need: 1 kg of fish, 10 ml of soy sauce, 1 onion, 0.5 lemon, spices, herbs, garlic.
Preparation: Wash and gut the fish, and marinate it in soy sauce with lemon juice, finely chopped onions, herbs, garlic and zest. After about an hour, place the carcasses on a wire rack and cook until they are beautifully golden brown.
7. Fish kebab on the grill
This option is convenient because the fish is immediately cut in portions.
You will need: 2 fish carcasses, 1 onion, 0.5 lemon, 1 tbsp. mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, spices.
Preparation: Cut the fish into chunks, add the lemon and onion rings, and marinate for a couple of hours in soy sauce, mayonnaise and spices. Gently put the pieces on a skewer and grill on the grill, constantly turning.
8. Baked fish with tomatoes
It will take just a couple of minutes to get ready!
You will need: 2 fish carcasses, 2 tomatoes, 1 bunch of dill, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, spices.
Preparation: Gut and rinse the fish well, and rub it with spices on all sides.Place tomato rings and dill sprigs in the belly, brush the fish with oil and fry on a wire rack until golden.
9. Fish and potatoes in honey
It is best to take small young potatoes.
You will need: 1.5 kg of fish, 1 tsp. honey, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 6 cloves of garlic, spices, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 500 g potatoes, 50 g butter, 1 bunch of herbs, 2 tsp. sesame seeds.
Preparation: Combine sesame seeds, honey, soy sauce and garlic for serving. Peel the fish, cut into portions and marinate in oil with spices. Mix washed potatoes with soft butter and chopped herbs.
Place everything on skewers and grill on coals for about 5 minutes on each side. Then gently brush the fish with honey sauce and continue to fry until tender.
10. Fish with rosemary on the grill
If you have a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary, then consider that nothing else is needed!
You will need: 1 fish carcass, 1 lemon, 4 sprigs of rosemary, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tbsp. olive oil, salt, pepper.
Preparation: Rinse the fish, gut and dry with paper towels. Slice half of the lemon into rings and squeeze the juice out of the rest.
Rub the fish with lemon juice, then garlic, and then salt and pepper. Place it on a wire rack and place the rosemary and lemon rings on top. Cook for a few minutes on each side.
11. Fish with onions and carrots
Another classic addition to fish.
You will need: 650 g fish, 0.5 onions, 1 carrot, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 2 tablespoons sour cream, spices, 2 tbsp. olive oil.
Preparation: Gut the fish, unfold the book along the ridge and remove the bones. Sprinkle it with oil and lemon juice, rub with spices, and then brush with sour cream. Spread grated carrots and finely chopped onions on top, wrap the fish in foil and grill on the grill for up to 20 minutes.
12. Whole-grilled fish
Use foil to bake the fish evenly.
You will need: 1 fish carcass, 1 lemon, 1 bunch of thyme, 30 ml of white wine, spices.
Preparation: Gut and rinse the fish, rub inside and out with spices. Fold the foil in two layers, place the thyme and lemon slices, and place the fish on the side.
Put another layer of lemon and thyme on top of the carcass, wrap the foil tightly and leave for 2 hours. And then fry on coals for about 20-30 minutes on both sides.
