The New Year is decisively approaching, and with it the fuss and pre-holiday worries. But this is an important event not only for adults, but also for kids. The time comes for beautiful and bright crafts, toys and decorations. You no longer have to look for interesting solutions on your own, because we have already collected a selection of 10 New Year's crafts that your child can make!
1. Snowman from a sock
There is an unnecessary white sock left without a pair - teach your child how to make a cute New Year's snowman out of it. Even a very young kindergartner can cope with this! For filling, take rice, buckwheat or dry peas, and for decoration - a few buttons, bows, ribbons and colored shreds.
At the toe, you need to cut off the toe and tie it with a thread on the other side. After that, pour the rice, give the bag a round shape and again tighten it tightly with a thread. By the same principle, you need to make the next ball, only smaller. It remains to attach the nose, eyes and decorate the craft with a hat, scarf, buttons or a bow.
2. Santa Claus from paper plates
From paper disposable plates left after an autumn picnic, you can make a cheerful Santa Claus with your own hands. Bend it or cut it in half, and then glue a paper cap, face, nose and eyes on the PVA. Small details can be drawn with a marker or felt-tip pens.
3. Snowflakes from pasta
There are no two identical snowflakes in the world, and they are all necessarily outlandish. Paper cuttings have become boring for everyone, but how can they be replaced? How about regular curly pasta of different types? They stick together easily, and then all that remains is to cover them with white or silver paint!
4. New Year's crafts from cotton wool
Fluffy winter snowmen, Santa Clauses and little animals delight the little ones. To do this, you only need a stencil template with drawn outlines and cotton balls. You can take ready-made pharmacies or roll them out of ordinary cotton wool in advance with your child. And only then the child will be able to independently dip them in glue and lay them on the workpiece.
5. Small Christmas trees
If you have a few neat twigs left over from an old artificial tree, you can make small Christmas decorations out of them. To do this, you will need more cinnamon sticks, colored buttons, rain trimmings, sequins and beads, and other small jewelry. You can glue a loop to the toy or assemble a beautiful home garland from them.
6. New Year's little cones
Crafts from cones are a New Year's classics in kindergartens and in all homes with children. Any tinsel will come in handy - fabric scraps, gift wrapping, beads, sequins, buttons, and other little things for decoration. And then you can create to the best of your imagination, developing the child's creativity and fine motor skills at the same time.
7. New Year's deer made of cork
Wine bottle corks are an indisputable find for quirky and simple New Year's crafts. For example, you can glue such a funny deer and decorate Santa's helper with beads and rain.
8. Fringed herringbone
If the child already confidently uses scissors or just needs to be trained, then cute Christmas trees with fringes will come to the rescue. Cut out triangles of different sizes from green paper, and then cut the edges with fringes. To make it easier for the baby, outline the lines along which and to which you need to cut.
The blanks are put together like an applique and are decorated with buttons, serpentine or small paper toys. By the way, you can make a beard for Santa Claus in the same way.
9. Colored Christmas balls
Stock up on a few transparent blanks for Christmas tree balls and unnecessary wax crayons.Such a small experiment in physics will delight all the children in the garden! You just need to put the pieces of crayons into a ball and heat it up with a hairdryer or near a heater - and you have a unique author's masterpiece in your hands!
10. Christmas wreath made of ice
This very simple Christmas craft will be another exciting physics experiment for kids. Pour water into a bowl and place a heavy glass or any other round utensil in the center - this will be the hole in the wreath. After that, the kid will be able to put anything in the water - berries, spruce branches, cones, pebbles, buttons, sparkles, dry leaves, glass. All that remains is to freeze the wreath on the street or on the balcony, and then remove it from the bowl, slightly heating it in warm water.
