It seems that there is no easier snack than sausages in the dough. But even they can be cooked in completely different ways. To prove this in practice, we have collected as many as 20 recipes with various subtleties and secrets!
1. Sausages in dough in the oven
The classic recipe, as per GOST.
You will need: 12 sausages, 1.5 cups flour, 0.5 cups milk, 1.5 tbsp. sugar, 40 g butter, 1 egg, 6 g yeast, a pinch of salt.
Preparation: Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk, and add a couple of tablespoons of flour. Leave the workpiece for 15 minutes, and during this time, beat the eggs with salt with a mixer until they increase in volume. Mix the dough, eggs and flour, add soft butter, knead the dough and leave it warm for an hour. Cut it into strips, wrap the sausages and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
2. Sausages in a dough in a pan
The easiest and fastest cooking recipe!
You will need: 10 sausages, 200 ml of kefir, 2 tsp. sugar, 1 egg, a pinch of salt and soda, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 350 g flour.
Preparation: Beat kefir with egg, salt and sugar until smooth. Add sifted flour with baking soda, vegetable oil, and knead the dough. Leave it for 20 minutes under the film, strip it into pieces, flatten it, stick it tightly on the sausages and fry.
3. Sausages in yeast-free dough
Yeast dough is most often used in sausage recipes, but this is far from the only option.
You will need: 8 sausages, 1 glass of water, 2 glasses of flour, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 egg, 1 tsp. salt and sugar.
Preparation: Mix oil, water, salt and sugar, and gradually add the sifted flour there. Knead an elastic dough and roll it out in a fairly thick layer 5-7 mm thick. Cut it into strips, wrap the sausages and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
4. Sausages in raw yeast dough
Compressed yeast needs a little more than dry yeast.
You will need: 8 sausages, 125 ml each of water and milk, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 30 ml of vegetable oil, 400 g of flour, 1 yolk.
Preparation: Mix warm milk, water, yeast and sugar, and then add vegetable oil. Add the sifted flour with salt in parts, knead the dough and leave it warm for an hour. Roll it out, cut into strips, wrap the sausages, leave for another 15 minutes and brush with whipped yolk. Bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees.
5. Sausages in puff pastry
Any dough will do, but it is better to let the yeast stand warm when you wrap the sausages.
You will need: 250 g sausages, 300 g puff pastry, 1 egg.
Preparation: Defrost the dough, lightly sprinkle with flour and cut into strips of 1.5 cm. Wrap the sausages tightly, brush with a beaten egg and bake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
6. Sausages in kefir dough
The kefir dough is very tender and has a beautiful golden crust.
You will need: 15 sausages, 500 g of flour, 250 ml of kefir, 100 ml of water, 1 egg, 10 g of yeast, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. sugar, a pinch of salt.
Preparation: Dissolve yeast with sugar in warm water and leave for 15 minutes. Mix them with warm kefir, egg and salt, and then gradually add sifted flour and butter. Leave the dough for 1.5 hours, roll out, cut into strips and wrap the sausages. Let them sit for 20 minutes and bake until golden brown at 200 degrees.
7. Sausages in mayonnaise dough
And such a dough turns out to be more magnificent than usual, and without eggs!
You will need: 10 sausages, 2 glasses of flour, 3 tbsp. mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 glass of water, 1.5 tsp. dry yeast and sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, salt.
Preparation: Dissolve the yeast with salt and sugar in warm water, and gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder. Add oil and mayonnaise there, knead the elastic dough and leave warm until rising. Divide it into pieces, roll it into tortillas, wrap the sausages and bake in the oven at 170 degrees for about 30 minutes.
8. Sausages in water dough
They are cooked without eggs or milk at all!
You will need: 16 sausages, 400 g flour, 1 tsp. dry yeast, 250 ml of water, 1 tbsp.sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 40 ml of vegetable oil.
Preparation: Mix warm water with sugar, yeast and 150 g flour, and leave the dough warm for 15 minutes. Add oil and salt, and then add the rest of the flour, and leave the dough for another hour. Divide it into pieces, roll each into a thin rope and wrap the sausages. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
9. Sausages in curd dough
A very unusual recipe that works well for light chicken sausages.
You will need: 5 sausages, 120 g flour, 65 g soft cottage cheese, 1 egg.
Preparation: Knead a soft elastic dough from cottage cheese, eggs and 100 g of flour, and leave it in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours. Divide it into parts according to the number of sausages, roll each into a thin rope and wrap it in a spiral. Bake for 25-30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
10. Sausages in dough in the microwave
Prepare even easier and faster than the usual way!
You will need: 6 sausages, 200 g puff pastry, 1 egg, 50 g sesame seeds.
Preparation: Defrost the dough, cut into squares and put a sausage on each. Roll tightly, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Make cuts on top and microwave for 10 minutes at 500 watts.
11. Sausages in dough in a slow cooker
If you can bake pies in it, then why not cook sausages in dough?
You will need: 9 sausages, 460 g flour, 200 ml milk, 50 g butter, 1 tbsp. dry yeast and sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. salt.
Preparation: Mix warm milk with salt, sugar and egg. Add melted butter there, and gradually add flour with yeast. Heat the dough for an hour, cut into strips, wrap the sausages and put them in a bowl on parchment. Cook on baking setting for about an hour, but turn over after 40 minutes.
12. Sausages with vegetables in dough
Making a simple dish more varied and more interesting.
You will need: 8 sausages, 1 pack of puff pastry, 1 zucchini, 1 pepper, 4 mushrooms, 1 egg, spices and cheese.
Preparation: Cut the dough into 8 squares and dust with flour. Cut vegetables, mushrooms and cheese into strips or slices. Place the filling and sausages on the dough and roll into a roll. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
13. Sausages in buckwheat dough
The dough with buckwheat flour turns out to be a little specific, but original.
You will need: 12 sausages, 350 g wheat flour, 150 g buckwheat flour, 10 g yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. flaxseeds, 350 ml of water, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, a pinch of salt.
Preparation: Mix sifted flour, salt and flaxseeds, and dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. When the dough rises, combine both masses, add butter at the end and leave the dough in the heat until it expands. Divide it into pieces, roll it into flat cakes, wrap the sausages and bake for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees.
14. Sausages in dough with tomatoes and cheese
Add fragrant Provencal herbs and brush with protein before baking!
You will need: 8 sausages, 1 tomato, 400 g of cheese, 600 g of puff pastry.
Preparation: Cut the dough into rectangles according to the number and size of the sausages. Chop the tomatoes finely, grate the cheese and place on top too. Sprinkle with spices and gently cover all the edges of the dough. Bake for about 25 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
15. Sausages in dough with herbs
Experiment with dill, parsley, and cilantro in varying proportions.
You will need: 7 sausages, 1 bunch of greens, 300 g of cheese, 2 glasses of flour, water, 2.5 tsp. yeast, 5 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 tsp. salt.
Preparation: Make cuts in the sausages, stuff them with chopped herbs and wrap them in a slice of cheese on top. Mix flour with salt and yeast, add butter and enough water to make a flexible dough. Leave it for an hour, roll it into thin strands, wrap sausages with cheese and bake for half an hour at 180 degrees.
16. Sausages in potato dough
Such sausages will go even for a main course, and not just for a snack.
You will need: 10 sausages, 1 kg of potatoes, salt, 1 egg, 25 g of butter, 90 g of semolina, 200 g of flour.
Preparation: Boil potatoes until tender, mash in mashed potatoes and cool slightly.Add butter, egg, spices, flour and semolina and knead the dough with your hands. Divide it into pieces, roll it into flat cakes, wrap the sausages, smooth the seams well and bake for 25-35 minutes at 200 degrees.
17. Sausages in corn flour dough
Corn dough has a beautiful yellowish tint and a unique aroma.
You will need: 10 sausages, 120 g corn flour, 360 g wheat flour, 30 g sugar, a pinch of salt, 80 g butter, 4 g yeast, 240 ml milk, 60 ml water, 1 egg, 20 ml vegetable oil.
Preparation: Combine the cornmeal, salt, and melted butter. Dissolve sugar with yeast in warm water and leave for 10 minutes. Warm the milk slightly, add to the flour and knead so that there are no lumps.
When the dough has cooled, mix it with the yeast dough, and at the very end add the egg and regular flour. Leave the dough warm for 2 hours, strip, flatten and wrap the sausages. Bake for about 20 minutes in an oven at 200 degrees.
18. Sausages in cheese dough
Add a spoonful of paprika or turmeric for color.
You will need: 10 sausages, 250 g flour, 25 ml vegetable oil, 150 ml water, 1 tsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp. yeast, a pinch of salt, 1 egg, 70 g of cheese.
Preparation: Dissolve yeast, sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour in warm water, and after 10 minutes add butter, spices and an egg. Slowly add flour and grated cheese, knead the dough and leave warm for an hour. Roll it out in a layer, cut into strips, wrap the sausages and bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
19. Sausages in dough with tomato sauce
Yeast-free puff pastry is better suited here.
You will need: 6 sausages, 1 puff pastry sheet, 3 tbsp. tomato sauce, garlic, herbs, chili, spices, 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard, 60 g of cheese, 1 egg.
Preparation: Cut the dough into rectangles and place a sausage on each. Combine tomato sauce, mustard, chopped herbs, garlic, chili, and spices and place on top. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese, pinch the edges well, and brush the dough with a beaten egg. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
20. Sausages in sour cream dough
