Sausages in batter are a great quick snack that requires almost nothing. Moreover, even they can be prepared in an original and interesting way. We have collected recipes for you with different subtleties and nuances!
1. Sausages in milk batter
The easiest and fastest batter - with milk!
You will need: 8 sausages, 1 egg, 5 tbsp. milk, 5 tbsp. flour, a pinch of sugar and salt, vegetable oil.
Preparation: Mix milk with salt and sugar, add 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the same and whisk lightly. Add sifted flour to the mixture, and then separately - whipped protein. Dip the sausages in batter and fry until tender.
2. Sausages in protein batter
For this recipe, you only need egg whites.
You will need: 8 sausages, 2 squirrels, 4 tablespoons. milk, 3 tbsp. flour, spices, vegetable oil.
Preparation: Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt into a thick foam. Mix milk with sifted flour and carefully combine both masses. Season to taste, dip the sausages and fry.
3. Sausages in beer batter
An even better snack is hard to find!
You will need: 8 sausages, 1 glass of light beer, 1 glass of flour, 2 eggs, spices, vegetable oil.
Preparation: Heat the beer slightly and mix it with flour and spices. Then add the yolks to the batter, and then - separately whipped whites. At the very end, add 50 ml of oil, dip the sausages in the mixture and fry in a pan.
4. Sausages in corn batter
We recommend frying them in aromatic corn oil.
You will need: 300 g sausages, 2 tablespoons milk, 100 g corn flour, 100 g plain flour, 1 tbsp. paprika, a pinch of baking powder, 1 egg, spices and sugar.
Preparation: Mix all dry ingredients and add egg and milk there. Knead a thick, viscous dough and dip the sausages on a wooden stick into it well. It is more convenient to do this in a glass or other high capacity. Fry the sausages until tender.
5. Boiled sausages in batter
You can first lightly boil the sausages for literally 5 minutes - and the taste will be completely different.
You will need: 500 g sausages, 0.5 cups of milk, 4 tbsp. flour, 1 egg, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, spices.
Preparation: Whisk the warm milk together with the egg. Add oil and spices there, and at the very end, stir in flour. Thoroughly roll the sausages in batter and fry in a large amount of oil, turning over.
6. Sausages in mustard batter
Due to the richness of the batter, you can even do without sauce.
You will need: 500 g sausages, 3 eggs, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. mustard, spices.
Preparation: Mix eggs with mustard until smooth, add spices and finally sifted flour. Add some mustard seeds if desired. Dip the sausages in batter and fry.
7. Sausages in batter with melted cheese
Choose a cheese with a distinct flavor.
You will need: 600 g of sausages, 150 g of processed cheese, 2 eggs, 0.5 cups of milk, 4 tbsp. flour, spices.
Preparation: Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater, add eggs to it and stir. Then pour in lukewarm milk and stir again. And lastly add the flour and spices. Roll the sausages in batter on all sides and fry in a pan.
8. Sausages in batter on kefir
Add herbs and herbs to the kefir batter to taste.
You will need: 10 sausages, 250 ml of kefir, 1 egg, 3 tbsp. flour, spices.
Preparation: Beat the kefir with egg and spices until smooth, and then add the sifted flour. Knead not too thick batter, dip the sausages into it and fry in a pan.
9. Sausages in semolina batter
The semolina batter has a mild taste and unusual texture.
You will need: 500 g sausages, 1 glass semolina, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. water, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, spices.
Preparation: Beat eggs with sugar and spices with a whisk until sugar melts. Gradually add semolina while stirring. And in the same way, while stirring, pour in warm water and vegetable oil.Dip the sausages in the batter, stir, leave for 15 minutes, and then fry.
10. Sausages in batter with starch
If you just ran out of flour - catch another alternative.
You will need: 500 g sausages, 0.5 cups of water, 120 g starch, 4 eggs, 1 tsp. vegetable oil, spices.
Preparation: Mix the yolks with warm water, oil and spices, and gradually add the starch there. Beat the whites separately until foamy and combine both masses. Cool the batter in cold water, roll the sausages and fry until tender.
11. Sausages in garlic batter
We recommend yoghurt without sugar and without additives.
You will need: 8 sausages, 4 cloves of garlic, 5 tbsp. flour, 5 tbsp. yogurt, 2 tablespoons chopped greens, 1 egg, spices.
Preparation: Beat the yogurt with egg and spices until the mass slightly increases in volume. Add flour, chopped herbs, crushed garlic to the batter and mix well. Roll the sausages on all sides and fry.
12. Sausages in mayonnaise batter
Oddly enough, such a batter does not give off mayonnaise at all, but it turns out to be very delicate.
You will need: 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 4 tablespoons flour, 6 sausages.
Preparation: Beat the eggs with mayonnaise with a whisk until smooth, and add the sifted flour to them. Mix the batter well so that there are no lumps, dip the sausages in it and fry.
